History

Holly Anne's Jam began in November of 2006. However, the making of our Raspberry Jam began years ago in Bemidji, Minnesota. Every summer my mother would make raspberry jam to give to friends and neighbors as Christmas gifts. She obtained the recipe from a fabulous cook named Martha Archer and promised to keep the recipe a secret.  As a young girl, I went through phases of wanting to help, to thinking "this is a waste of time." As I got older, my sister and I began to realize what a great gift a jar of raspberry jam is to our friends, neighbors, childrens' teachers, as a hostess gift, or just something nice to have when a gift is in order. Of course, we love having it in our own refrigerators all year long.  As long as I can remember, four weeks of the summer are spent in Bemidji, Minnesota with our family golfing, boating, fishing, relaxing and making raspberry jam. Over the years, we have perfected the process, made more and more jars and had fun doing it.

In 2006, with lots of encouragement from friends and family, I launched Holly Anne's Raspberry Jam.  I am experimenting with new flavors and recipes using Holly Anne's Raspberry Jam.  So, thank you to Martha Archer, my mother for teaching me how to make her "famous jam" and my family for letting me take on this endeavor.
